The Florida Puerto Rican Parade, Inc., (FLPRP) is a 501 © (3) non-profit organization that yearly produces the Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival in downtown Orlando. It is conducting the Gua’kia 5K it is efforts to coordinate, promote and improve the health of runners. Children and Youth runs are also be included. For FLPRP the well-being, peace of mind and safety of runners and staff is of the utmost importance. Let us celebrate them by running on September 12, 2021 thru this wonderful route.

 

About the event

LOCATION

  • The Americas Park
  • Lake Underhill

CHECK-IN

  • Las Americas Park – 201 Andes Ave. Orlando, 32807
  • Registration Time – 6:00am – 7:00am
  • Wear a mask and follow social distancing standards
  • Bring picture I.D.
  • Baggage Check-in – 6:00am to 6:45am – tear-off tags to pin on bib and personal bags
  • Runners need to show the matching bib to retrieve the bags from secure area

COURSE DETAILS

  • The start and finish are located on the same spot at The Americas Park
  • The course is on a paved 5K loop with one street crossing.
  • Runners will have a specific marked lane

WATER/SUPPORT STATIONS

  • Grab and go tables will be placed at 3 locations on the course
  • The tables will have water for runners to pick up on their own
  • Runners should take whatever is needed and immediately move past the table to provide space for other runners
  • Runners are asked to maintain social distancing standards while getting water

THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE

  • T-shirts will be available
  • Die-cast Medals with color ribbons

AWARDS CEREMONY

  • Awards by age category for top 3 overall males and females
